Auditions for Into the Woods

Come with us Into the Woods! One of Stephen Sondheim’s most popular musicals, Tony Award-winning “Into the Woods” weaves together the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales to create a timeless, yet relevant modern classic. Following a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. They journey through the woods hoping to have their wishes granted, but soon learn to be careful what they wish for!

Auditions will be held in the Auditorium on Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove Campus. Audition times are Saturday, February 8, 2020 – 12:00-3:00pm, Monday, February 10, 2020 – 6:30-9:30pm, and Tuesday, February 11, 2020 – 6:30-9:30pm. Auditioners will be asked to sing 16 to 32 bars of a song of their choosing, upbeat in the style of the show. Please bring music for the accompanist on paper (not on a phone).  NO A CAPPELLA SINGING.
